Each school year brings breaks in the student's normal routine. One is the Global Enrichment Cluster classes which this year will take place on 2 of the district's early release days. Students in grades 1-6 participate in special interest mini classes which have a distinctive global theme.
Another event is the Koalty Kid assembly especially designed for grades K-3. Students keep track of the books they read outside of school or during choice or silent reading time in classes. There are different prizes given depending on the number of books read. Booker, a large Koala, is present at the assemblies to cheer our "Koalty Kid readers" on!
