How do we meet the needs of the whole child? Specialists in different areas work with students to ensure that standards are met. Our students have 4 different preparation periods, Physical Education, Music, Art and Science. All of these subjects are taught by a certified teacher with credentials in their chosen fields. Each classroom has 1 week of each class per month. Please check the individual prep classes' web pages for more specific information on their field of study.
All Frost Lake students go to the Media Center once a week. They check out a minimum of 2 books a week as well as have classes with a certified media specialist every other week.
English Language Learners have small group reading instruction with their ELL teachers. Visit the ELL page to get additional information on that successful program.
Technology is not a subject, but a tool like a pencil or ruler. It is integrated across the curriculum and it is the curriculum that drives the instruction.
