Thank you for enabling your child to have a successful Fifth Grade
experience. Below is a list of suggested supplies to start off the
year:
several sharpened pencils
1 large eraser
2 marking pens
medium size scissors
Pack of 8 markers
Pack of 8-16 colored pencils
Pack of 24 crayons
1 or 2 boxes of tissue or Kleenex
6 notebooks
6 folders
1 paperback dictionary
1 paperback thesaurus
Small notebook for recording homework
1 1/2 inch 3-ring binder
SPECIAL NOTES: Many students use the same color notebook and
folder for each separate subject to help stay organized. Also, gel pens
and mechanical pencils are not allowed. Finally, trapper keepers can be
bulky and may not fit in the students desk. We have found that the
expandable, accordian style folder works well.
